Data Deletion Instructions

Anima Labs respects your right to remove your personal data from our systems. This page explains how to request deletion of any data we have collected about you, including data obtained via Facebook Login, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp Business and Meta Marketing API integrations.
1. Self-service deletion (recommended)
If you signed in to our service via Facebook or Instagram, you can revoke access at any time:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find "Anima Labs" in the list of active apps
- Click Remove
- Confirm — Meta will notify us and we will delete the associated data within 30 days
2. Email request
Send an email to animus.machine.labs@gmail.com with subject "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- The email or phone number associated with your account
- Your Facebook/Instagram username (if applicable)
- A short statement: "I request deletion of all personal data Anima Labs holds about me."
3. What gets deleted
Within 30 days of confirmation we permanently delete:
- Profile information (name, email, phone)
- WhatsApp message history processed through our system
- Instagram / Threads content cached for analytics
- Ads & Marketing API data tied to your account
- Authentication tokens and session data
Some data may be retained where required by law (tax, fraud prevention) — anonymized whenever possible.
4. Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete (max 30 days). For urgent issues contact animus.machine.labs@gmail.com.
5. Data Deletion Callback (technical)
Our app supports Meta's Data Deletion Callback. When a user removes Anima Labs from their Facebook account, Meta sends a signed request and we automatically queue the user's data for deletion. A confirmation code is provided per Meta's specification.
